Site launches neighborhood profiles
Reports include home values, crime rates, demographics
By Inman News, Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Inman News
NeighborhoodScout.com, a neighborhood information site for consumers, has launched Web-based neighborhood data reports. NeighborhoodScout Reports include 300 statistics, graphs and charts for every neighborhood in the United States. Users plug in an address on the site and get a profile of the surrounding neighborhood with data like home values; neighborhood density and character; and age, racial, occupational, and language demographics. The reports, which are offered as a subscription-based product based on the number of reports a user purchases, also compare school and crime rate information to other neighborhoods across the country. They can be shared via e-mail.
